Three Young Cricketers Impress Misbah in PSL 8

Former Pakistan coach Misbahul Haq has been impressed by the young talent on display in the ongoing eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). In particular, he singled out three cricketers who have caught his attention: Ihsanullah, Azam Khan, and Saim Ayub.
Speaking to the media at an event in Lahore on Saturday, Misbah praised Ihsanullah for his outstanding performance as a fast bowler. With 12 wickets under his belt, Ihsanullah is currently the leading wicket-taker in the league. Misbah also commended Saim Ayub for his classical shots and a solitary fifty he scored for Peshawar Zalmi.
Misbah, however, chose to reserve his judgement on the young cricketers until the end of the tournament, stating, “Let’s see how well they fare in the remaining matches of the league.”
The former captain had special words of praise for Azam Khan, who played a phenomenal knock of 97 runs from just 42 balls against Quetta Gladiators on Friday. According to Misbah, Azam has improved as a batter and is now consistently performing well, unlike his previous hit-and-miss performances.
Overall, Misbah was optimistic about the future of Pakistan cricket and the talent pool that is emerging in the PSL. With several matches still to be played in the tournament, fans will eagerly await the performance of these young cricketers and see if they can live up to Misbah’s expectations.
